• Friday (listed as April 23 on the expo and schedule pages; a search-result rendering of the same page listed Friday, April 24): 10:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.
• Saturday (listed as April 24 on the expo and schedule pages; a search-result rendering listed Saturday, April 25): 10:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.

• Expo pickup is mandatory. Every participant must attend the expo to collect their packet unless they pre-purchased race-day pick-up during registration. Packets cannot be mailed.
• Race-day pick-up is a paid add-on ($15) that must be bought in advance. The site gives two different deadlines: the expo page says Thursday, April 22; the FAQ says April 23. Buy it well before either.
• Race-morning pick-up is a 45-minute window only: 5:30 a.m. - 6:15 a.m. at Finisher Field, west of Hayward Field. Officials close promptly at 6:15 a.m., 45 minutes before the 7:00 a.m. start. Only pre-paid participants get in.
• No refund on the race-day pick-up fee if you end up collecting at the expo, defer your entry, or do not attend.
• Bring photo ID plus the QR code from your confirmation email, printed or on your phone.
• Proxy pickup is allowed: your friend needs a copy of your confirmation email with the QR code and must know your full registered name and email address.
• The Saturday 7:15-9:15 a.m. window at Finisher Field is only for the Eugene 5K and Kids Duck Dash. Marathon and half runners cannot use it.
• Gear check is included with your packet and is for Sunday races only. It opens 5:45 a.m. on Finisher Field (Field #1) west of Hayward Field; write your bib number on the bag first and queue in the line matching your corral letter.
• The two expo venues are a few blocks apart in downtown Eugene, so budget time if you want both.

The published weekend schedule

All times and event listings are from eugenemarathon.com (schedule, expo-info, faq and race-day-details pages), checked August 2026. The site contradicts itself on dates: the schedule and expo pages label the weekend Friday April 23 / Saturday April 24 / Sunday April 25, while the expo page's race-day pick-up block and a search rendering of the same content give Sunday April 26 (with Friday April 24 / Saturday April 25). Treat the day-of-week sequence as reliable and re-verify the calendar dates and year against the official site before booking. The last pre-race shuttle leaves by 6:40 a.m. and race-morning packet pick-up shuts at 6:15 a.m., both ahead of the 7:00 a.m. gun. Course limit is a 16-minute mile; after that, traffic protection and aid stations shut down and you must move to the sidewalk, and the finish line stays open 7 hours from the last starter.

Getting there

Assume you are not driving to the stadium on Sunday. The closures around Hayward Field open at 6:00 a.m., before most people would leave a hotel, and the race's own page calls parking around the stadium VERY limited. The whole system is built around a shuttle window of 5:15 to 6:30 a.m. — that is the entire pre-race service, and if you miss 6:30 there is no later bus, only your legs. Gear check opens at 5:45 a.m., which is a useful anchor: catch a shuttle in the first half of the window and you arrive with the gear tent already open.

• Pre-race shuttles: 5:15–6:30 a.m. only. Shuttles to Hayward Field run every 10 minutes across the window. Stops are Graduate Eugene (66 E 6th Ave), the Valley River Inn parking lot (1000 Valley River Way), and Hutton St. and Kruse Way in Springfield, dropping at Hayward Field at 15th and University. Graduate Eugene is the busiest and runs every 5–8 minutes.
• Getting back after you finish. Post-race shuttles run 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., every 15 minutes, stopping at all shuttle locations. If you finish before 9:30 there is no shuttle yet — that gap matters for a sub-3 runner, who should plan to walk back or be met. If you are staying downtown, walking back is roughly a mile.
• Which streets close and when. Sunday, Eugene: Franklin Blvd at Agate St and Agate St north of 19th both 6:00 a.m.–2:00 p.m.; Agate St south of 19th 6:00–8:00 a.m.; 24th Ave from Agate to Hilyard 6:00–8:00 a.m.; Hilyard from 20th to 30th 6:00–8:00 a.m. and 30th–33rd southbound to 9:30 a.m.; East Amazon southbound lane 6:00–9:00 a.m.; West Amazon northbound 6:30–9:30 a.m.; Amazon Pkwy northbound 6:30–10:00 a.m.; 19th from Amazon to Agate 6:30–10:00 a.m. Springfield: Franklin through Glenwood westbound 7:00–10:30 a.m.; Main St Glenwood to 10th and A St 10th to Mill 7:30–10:30 a.m.; Mill A to D southbound 7:30–10:30 a.m.; D St Mill to Walnut eastbound 7:30–11:00 a.m.
• Can a car reach the hotels. Before 6:00 a.m., yes — nothing is closed. After 6:00 a.m. the Maverick and both Best Westerns sit inside or adjacent to the Agate/Hilyard/24th closure set, so drive in Saturday and walk Sunday. Downtown and Valley River are outside every listed closure at all hours. The eight-hour Agate closure north of 19th is the one that ruins a midday drive back to a campus-area room.
• Towing. The Transportation & Parking page I fetched carries no towing language; a search-result summary of that same page says parking violators around Hayward Field will be towed. Treat towing as real but the start time as unconfirmed — the safe reading is that temporary no-parking applies from the 6:00 a.m. closure onward. Do not leave a car on Agate, Hilyard between 20th and 33rd, or 24th between Agate and Hilyard overnight.
• Public transit and bikes. Lane Transit District runs EmX bus rapid transit to Agate Station near Hayward Field, but the race page lists no service times and Sunday LTD service is unlikely to start early enough for a pre-7 a.m. arrival — verify with LTD before relying on it. Better non-car option: free bike valet at the corner of 17th & Agate, open 6:00 a.m.–2:00 p.m. Sunday, plus PeaceHealth Rides bike share (over 400 bikes) via app.
• Saturday 5K closures, if you are in town early. Agate St north of 18th to 13th 6:00–10:00 a.m.; Agate 18th to 24th, 24th from Agate to University, University 20th–24th, 20th University to Harris, Harris 20th–23rd, 23rd Harris to Alder, and Alder 23rd to 15th all 7:30–10:00 a.m. Metered street parking around Hayward Field applies Saturday, and many UO lots are free to the public on weekends.
• Dinner the night before. Beppe & Gianni's Trattoria on E 19th Ave, a short walk from the campus-side hotels — straightforward Italian, house-made pasta, the kind of room that fills with runners the Saturday of race weekend. Stated plainly: this pick is from general knowledge, not from any page fetched for this dossier, so book ahead and verify hours yourself.
