Expo, schedule and race morning
The published schedule lists no race-morning packet pickup. Everything else on this page is easier than that one fact.
The expo
- Friday: 12:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
- Saturday: 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
- Packet, bib, shirt and goody bag pickup all happen here, and the published schedule lists no race-morning pickup. Plan on getting your bib Friday or Saturday: that constraint is the single most expensive thing to get wrong about this weekend.
- Free to the public, so bring whoever you came with.
- Roughly 50 booths. Gu and Gatorade Endurance lemon-lime are what is on course, so this is the place to find out whether they agree with you.
- The convention center is under Mall B. You can pick up your bib, walk out the door, and stand on the start line to see what you are in for.
Hours and venue confirmed in the organizer's published 2027 event FAQ. Check again before travel in case operations change.

Getting there on race morning
Downtown streets start closing before 6 a.m. on Sunday. If you are driving in on race morning, the road you planned to use is probably part of the course.
- Be downtown before 6 a.m. on Sunday. The race's own guidance. Saturday's 5K and 10K want you there by 6:30 a.m. Both numbers are earlier than they sound, because the closures go up before the roads look busy.
- The Red Line is the cheat code. RTA's Red Line runs from Hopkins airport straight to Tower City, which is under Public Square and a seven minute walk from the start. It does not care about road closures. If you are flying in, you can get from the gate to the expo without a car.
- Park east, not west. The course occupies everything west and north of Public Square on Sunday morning. Garages on the east side of downtown, off Euclid and Prospect, let you leave afterward without waiting for the course to reopen.
- The finish empties late. The 7 hour open-course window means some streets stay closed until early afternoon. If you have a flight, build in more margin than the map suggests.
Parking garages near the start
Structured garages within a fifteen minute walk of the start line, from OpenStreetMap. Availability and rates on race weekend are not something we can promise, and the ones inside the course loop can be hard to leave until the roads reopen.
